While initially just seen as mischievous parasites, they progressively get slightly worse from the animated pilot onwards as they target Joe Bigman/Mr. Loco hallucinates himself with a throat on fire and in a world full of darkness and flames (seemingly Hell itself), with the two Mosquitoes there appearing especially large and terrifying to him. The series begins when two singular mosquito buds decide to move in with the Bigmans and make their and their neighbors' lives miserable. They both have large humanlike eyes but Paul has relatively normal eyes with blue irises while John has more malicious yellow eyes. They both wear clothes, a blue or purple shirt for Paul and a dark green shirt for John, and both have shoes that match their shirts' colors.īoth have heads covered in spikes and the usual antennae, and their proboscis or actual mouths are adapted into noses to fit their more humanoid designs. They appear as anthropomorphic mosquitoes of differing builds, Paul being short and obese while John is slim and tall.
